❗The document is the Hardware Audit procedure for Full Hotspots. New HIP19 applications should be for a Light Hotspots or a 5G design, as we are no longer accepting new Full Hotspot designs.
Indoor and Outdoor hotspots arriving together will be audited together.
Indoor and Outdoor hotspots arriving more than 2 weeks apart will be audited separately.
Re-audit (such as change in model) required only if any of the following:
- CPU changes
- RAM decreases
- Storage decreases
- Change in radio
- Change in security element
- Change in any parameter that requires regulatory recertification
Check that you have the following PDF document from the manufacturer with the following:
- Hardware is labeled clearly with the company name
- In the document, include a note with the countries you intend to sell the hotspot in
- In the document, include radio certifications you will get and their expected date
- In the document, specify if this is a Full or Light Hotspot we are auditing
- Is this an indoor or outdoor Hotspot
- Provide a block diagram and clearly label the location of the security implementation (ECC chip or TrustZone etc)
- Provide instructions for SSH or Terminal access
- Provide instructions for stopping and starting Miner
- Provide instructions for stopping and starting Packet Forwarder
