Our community is rapidly expanding, there’s high demand for Manufacturing Compliance Committee (MCC) approved Hotspots (miners), and we’re seeing significant interest from all types of end-users from enthusiastic hobbyists, commercial resource management, to municipal governments.
At the center of the community is the Helium Foundation, which acts as the seat of government for the network -- a collaborative effort across providers, hosts, and users.
If you have additional questions please reach out to Christina Ramsey, Program Manager, via email [email protected].
The MCC Diligence Process, (formally KYC/B), was created in the interest of providing transparency to the Helium Community.
Fill out the Public Diligence Process form here, and upload your company’s proof of incorporation (these should only be publicly available documents), and a signed copy of the Helium Network Manufacturer Ethics and Expectations (this is required).
Email the following documents privately to the Helium Foundation

After the above steps have been completed, there will be a MCC objection period of 1 week, with a default to approve the manufacturer. During this time, the Manufacturing Compliance Committee (MCC) will review the HIP19 and Diligence form. Two objections will result in a call for a vote to accept or reject the manufacturer. This vote must pass with a ⅔ vote to “approve” for the manufacturer to move on to the next steps.
If the HIP19 application is denied by the MCC at this stage, manufacturers may re-apply in 6 months.
